The Operator's Edge

Most AI advice skips a step. Before any tool touches your business, you need to see where it actually loses money, and understand the tool well enough that nobody can oversell it to you. This program teaches both, in that order, over twelve self-paced weeks.

A DialWorth program for owner-operators in home services and the trades.

What it is

A judgment course, not a tools list

Twelve weeks, three phases, delivered in lessons under twelve minutes so they fit between jobs. Every week ships with a template and one action that proves you did the work.

Who it's for

Owner-operators, not enterprises

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest, cleaning, moving and adjacent trades, roughly $500K to $5M in revenue, running a front office or CSR desk. Time-poor and done being sold to.

The promise

You leave un-conable

By the end you can name where your business leaks money, tell a real AI tool from a demo, and pilot one safely enough to hand to an employee instead of keeping it in your own head.

The thesis. Automating a broken process does not fix it. It runs the break faster, at scale, for a monthly fee. Two things have to come first: you have to be able to see where your business actually leaks money, and you have to understand what a language model does and does not do before you point one at your front desk. Everybody selling AI right now understands neither business nor AI well enough to tell you that. This program builds the judgment those vendors are counting on you not having.
How it's structured

Three phases. Business first, then the tool, then the two combined.

No live calls, no cohort, no schedule to keep. Watch on a phone between jobs and move at your own pace.

Phase I / Weeks 1-4

Business fundamentals

See the business as a single flow from lead to paid, find the four numbers that run it, and rank the leaks so you know which one to fix first.

Phase II / Weeks 5-8

How AI actually works

What a language model does and does not do, why it forgets mid conversation, why confidence has nothing to do with correctness, and how to test a tool before you trust it.

Phase III / Weeks 9-12

The blend

Where AI belongs in your pipeline and where it never should, how to pilot it without betting the business, and how to hand the result to an employee instead of keeping it in your head.

How this fits with the diagnostic. The diagnostic stays a fixed-fee measurement engagement, nothing else. The Operator's Edge is a separate, self-paced program for owners who want to build this judgment on their own, whether or not they ever bring in outside help.
